Hill was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL's drug policy. If he is activated the Giants have several options to clear room for him. One is tight end Adrien Robinson, who has yet to play this season. He suffered a foot injury this summer that one source said is "much worse" than intially believed. Another player who could be headed to IR is center David Baas, who has a neck injury and may also need season ending surgery.
