That will make nine hours of work; I think that’s enough and that, with such a regime, it won’t be long before you do something good. You see that that leaves us all evening free, and we can do whatever we like, without impinging at all on our studies. Then on Sundays we’ll take off and go to some places around Paris; there are some charming spots, and if so moved you can knock off a little canvas of the trees under which we’ll have lunched …
