Which year are you in? <a href=" http://petardas.in.net/ ">petardashd</a> Ed Harris took on the role of famous painter Jackson Pollock for the 2000 film 'Pollock.' The film follows the artist's tumultuous life in the 1940s and is told in flashback after Life Magazine comes calling for an article. Harris was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar, but lost to Russell Crowe in 'Gladiator.' But as with Joaquin Phoenix in 'Walk the Line,' his female co-star, Marcia Gay Harden, who played Pollock's wife, Lee Kasner, won an Oscar for best supporting actress.
