But where is their Chris Martin, their Courtney Walsh, their Chandrasekhar, their Phil Hughes? The simple answer is that there is not one. Sky bat all the way down. There is a tiresome excellence to them: a frighteningly earnest, strangely hokey, powder-based-foundation-themed excellence. This is Sky Sports Ashes, you see. Can you not see they put “Ashes” in the name to show you how seriously they take this? This is the Ashes, and the Ashes is too important to be fun. Here, have another montage.
