Have you read any good books lately? adcirca reviews Lord Heseltine is a former Deputy Prime Minister and founder of the Haymarket publishing group. He has played an important role in the regeneration of Liverpool over the past three decades and was largely responsible for bringing about the transformation of the Albert Dock and the International Garden Festival. At his LJMU Roscoe Lecture in 2008, Lord Heseltine provided insights on the political decisions behind Liverpool's regeneration, calling the City a "national model of urban renaissance". He was made a Freeman of Liverpool 2012. That same year he published No stone unturned: In pursuit of growth, his independent report with recommendations on how to increase UK growth.
