Thereâs grist for drama in the tale of a man whose life has gone from being about control to being about chaos. The playwright has tried to turn out a work that balances social and political commentary, domestic drama and, thanks to a forbidden love affair between flighty Tess and Buzzâs never-seen lawyer son, a whiff of âRomeo and Juliet.â But Anastasiâs reach exceeds his grasp.
